500MB Web Space
Disk storage refers to the amount of server disk storage your account is allocated. This space is used to store your html files, graphics, audio/video files and all other files that make up your web site. Your POP3 emails are not stored in this space.

Free Domain Registration
Netmation pays your domain name registration fees as long as you’re a customer of our hosting services. You never receive a bill from any registrar, you do not have to pay the $35/year fee, we pay the fee for you. You can transfer it, modify it, delete it, whatever you want to do. We just pay the bill. Please state that you want this feature when signing up, since some customers prefer to keep all domain registrations they own under the same registra we understand that some may not prefer this feature, even though Netmation pays the yearly fee.

Unlimited Data Transfer
There are no practial limits on the data transfer your web site uses. You won't get a suprise bill for additional bandwidth. This means that unless your site compromises the performance of the web server, or the performance of our network we don't care how much traffic you have. Should your web site require extremely large traffic a Netmation representative will contact you to discuss moving your site to a dedicated server. Keep in mind that we do not allow Adult, MP3 download, or software download sites.

Unlimited E-mail
You can create as many POP3, Alias, Autoresponders, and Forwarding accounts as you would like.

Web Based E-mail
This provides you with a way to add/delete/modify email accounts 24 hours a day with no interaction on our part. Use it to manage all of your email accounts or make it easy for friends and family to have an email @yourdomain.com! You can even check your email through any web-browser. This is especially convenient when you're traveling and only have access to someone else's computer.

Email Aliases and Forwards
Ability to receive any email at @yourdomain.com by having it "redirected" to another email account. The best part about using aliases or forwards is that the person emailing you never knows the mail is being redirected.

Email AutoResponders
An autoresponder is a pre-determined message with information you want automatically sent to anyone who emails a designated email address at your domain. These are easily setup from within your web site control panel.

Statistics
We will make a series of statistics on your network usage and visitors available to you, so you can track the growth of your web site.

FrontPage Extensions
FrontPage extensions are installed for every account. On the Windows platform they are installed automatically at setup. Unix users should contact support if they require FrontPage extentions. Since some Unix users in the past have desired not to have them installed in their user directories.

CGI/Perl Scripts
Each account comes with it's own pre-configured /cgi-bin directory for CGI script development and implementation. You may use this to execute any cgi-script you write or ones that are already pre-written for you. Scripts that end in .pl and scripts that end in .cgi will execute from any directory within your web space.

Password Protected Directories
The long awaited feature that most providers haven't figured out. You now can specify a directory that you want password protected and you get to add/delete/modify users whenever you'd like. It's a simple text file in your webspace that's not accessible from a browser. You simply it and edit away.

Custom 404 Error Pages
You can now create your own custom pages when a user enters a web page which is no longer on your system. You can design your own page and even add a a link to a different page. This puts an end to frustrated visitors that get lost when you change the structure of your site.

Server Side Includes
We support the Server Side Includes (.stm, .shtm, .shtml) extensions.

E-commerce
Start your own E-Commerce site. Included is access to Secure Socket Layers (SSL) Security implementations. This is necessary for any sensitive information such as credit card information that can be encrypted before transmission through a web browser. SSL will light up the key in your customer's browser, greatly increasing customer trust when buying from your site.

Daily Backups
Your site is backed up daily to a RAID V system, which is then backed up to tape. Even though we have backups it is recommended that you backup your data as well, since offsite backups are a must for any backup plan. Netmation can assist you in doing via an automated scheduled task.

Access Database (Windows)
We support Microsoft Access ODBC Database Access. You can request a DSN or use a DSN-less connection.

Coldfusion (Windows)
Cold Fusion is a great programming language by Macromedia. It is similar to ASP but is mainly designed for database access. Our Windows servers have Coldfusion server already installed, you don't have to purchase anything.

Real Audio/Video Streaming (Windows)
We currently support the http: streaming of RealAudio/Video. Streaming allows your users to see or hear your multimedia files without having to download them to their local PCs first

Active Server Page Components (Windows)
We fully support Active Server Pages (ASP) in the Windows environment. Some pre-installed components are: ASP Mail, ASPEmail, DevMailer and ASP Simple Upload for uploading graphics and files through a web browser.

mySQL Database (Unix)
Powerful Unix based data base system that can handle a large amount of data similar to the popular leading commerical data base applications: Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2 and Oracle. MySQL is the world's most popular Open Source Database, designed for speed, power and precision in mission critical, heavy load use.

Telnet (Unix)
A telecommunications software utility which allows you to become a user on a remote computer. Once you access the remote terminal, you can use it for its intended purposes.

Mailing Lists (Unix)
You can create an unlimited number of mailing lists. No spam or unsolicited email is premitted with our servers.

Unix Utilities (Unix)
Reasonable use of crontab allowed, no jobs that run every minute, etc. Background processes servers, bots, etc. are not allowed
